Joan Rivers Attacks Angelina Jolie Over Oscar Leg Pose

Out of all the mundane things Joan Rivers could complain about coming out of the Oscar red carpet celebration she chose to attack the way Angelina Jolie posed her right leg.

During the ceremony Jolie allows her right leg to peek through her elegant long black dress. Angelina Jolie for her part didn’t try to hide the fact that she was posing, in fact she placed her arm in a pose and stood still for photographers. Yet Joan Rivers and her daughter Melissa Ribers decided to tear her a new one.

According to the Rivers girls in a RadarOnlineexclusive :

“Angelina Jolie looked like a fool the way she posed. She took herself right out of that super star category because you now realize she stands in front of a mirror to figure out [what she looks like.]”

Her daughter Melissa Rivers agreed: “She was demystified! She demystified herself and it’s unfortunate because it always looks so effortless, and you think how can one person be so glamorous? It’s because she practices!”

“Have you ever seen anybody stand with their hand on a hip with a leg thrown out to open an envelope? No. and you want to say, you idiot! You brought us back to the fact and we’ve all forgotten that you used to wear blood around your neck and French kiss your brother!”

The biggest complaint seems to be echoed across the blogosphere where writers have complained that such a pose isn’t the way a U.N. ambassador and an Oscar-winning actress should behave. I disagree, it’s not a nip slip, she wasn’t wearing some ridiculous costume to grab attention, she was just a 37-year-old mother showing off her still amazing legs…pardon me LEG, during a trip down the red carpet. As least this time she wasn’t sucking face with her brother or wearing a vial of blood around her neck.

I say good for you Angelina Jolie, perhaps next time you should show up in a lower cut dress and your boobs hanging out as far as humanly possibly so Joan Rivers and her daughter really have something to talk about.
