Bobbi Kristina Brown: Life Inside Rehab Unveiled As Bobby Brown And Nick Gordon’s Stepdad Break Silence [Video]

When Bobbi Kristina Brown was discovered unconscious in her home on January 31 by her boyfriend Nick Gordon and his friend, the 21-year-old daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown became headline news. But now, after weeks remaining on life support in a hospital ICU, including spending her 22nd birthday surrounded by family such as grandma Cissy Houston praying for a medical miracle, Bobbi Kristina has been transferred to a long-term care rehabilitation facility with experts revealing a grim prognosis, reported People.

But although relatives from both Whitney’s and Bobby’s sides are visiting, only Bobby Brown can make medical decisions for his daughter. Dependent on life support machines such as ventilator, Bobbi Kristina is surrounded by familiar objects that her family hopes can somehow reach her from within the depths of her medically induced coma.

“It’s quiet and peaceful,” revealed a family insider. “The family has brought some things from home for her. Not much – just a few things, like a blanket and some pictures.”

But does hope for a medical miracle exist, and do family members such as Pat and Gary Houston, her aunt and uncle, still try to make a difference by visiting her? Yes, said that source.

“Everyone’s all cried out by now. We love her and want her to recover.”

In a dramatically different world, Bobbi Kristina Brown’s long-time boyfriend Nick Gordon remains in rehab after an intervention that reportedly saved his life, according to Radar Online.

Persuaded to meet with TV talk show host Dr. Phil for what he was told would be an interview, Gordon was drinking large amounts of alcohol, taking Xanax, and not consuming any water, said a source.

“It was a hard 48 hours,” said the source of Gordon’s time spent waiting for the interview with Dr. Phil.

“His kidneys were going into failure. He would have been hospitalized if Dr. Phil had waited another day.”

As the Inquisitr reported, both Nick Gordon and Bobbi Kristina Brown used drugs ranging from cocaine to heroin, with sources revealing that the 22-year-old had taken drugs on the day that she was found unconscious. With Whitney as Bobbi Kristina’s birth mother and as Nick’s unofficial “adopted mom,” the two grew up in a home where drug addiction was played out, said Houston’s chauffeur of two decades.

But while Nick now is in rehab for three months, his stepfather expressed concern about the 25-year-old’s life after rehab in an interview with Access Hollywood.

Jack Walker Jr. calls himself the sole father figure for Nick Gordon, although he is not married to Gordon’s birth mother, Michelle. She met with Dr. Phil and her son as Walker observed the intervention.

“He’s hurt so bad,” revealed Jack of Gordon’s emotional state. “It’s hard for him each day. He doesn’t know if he can make it another day. It’s getting harder and harder.”

As to what will happen to Nick after three months in rehab?

“If something happens to Bobbi Kristina… if she doesn’t pull through then I will fear for my son’s life,” admitted Walker.

As for Bobbi Kristina’s dad, Bobby Brown, the 46-year-old singer is speaking out and making it clear to his family that he’s in charge, reported People.

And despite rumors that he had been persuaded by relatives such as Cissy Houston and Pat to end Bobbi Kristina’s life support, Brown has told them he is determined to stay positive.

“He’s going to give her every chance to fight for her life.”
