First, welcome home Marine. Semper Fi. Secondly, why is it okay to show opposite sex military members kissing their loved ones in uniform during a homecoming, yet, these two HUMANS who are in love kiss in uniform is disgusting to others? Personally, as a Marine for 8 years back in the 90s, I say it is about time for men and women to be able to serve their country openly as who they are instead of hiding it making it harder for them.

Personally, I don't think we should have to see the dependent spouses who are fat or disgusting to look at kissing their spouse at homecoming. However, again it is NOT my place to judge nor is it yours.

I am a Viet Nam era vet (1972), who defended my country, and this is a beautiful thing to see. In a way it seems like a long time ago…Viet Nam…me openly gay in my flight (Air Force), getting positive feedback from my friends, but being discharged for being gay—although it was an honorable discharge. And yet it seems like only a short time, as well, and here we are, finally fully integrated into the military and able to kiss our loved ones openly and not be discharged for it. So lovely I get tears in my eyes about this.

At the END of the the day everybody who thinks that going against creation shall be judged by no man but by GOD almighty himself! He has given each and everyone of us freewill but where will your free choice take you? God loves each and everyone of our souls and wants none to perish forever but He also said to turn away from our fleshly desires and to live in the spirit not gratifying the desires of our flesh because in the END it is our soul which will remain. If we turn from our sin and ask forgiveness God our creator is just to forgive us and cast our sin as far s East is from the West.

I have been friends with gay men, although I didn't understad their sexual orientaion – I respected it and liked them a lot as a person. I still don't dislike gay men — I just dislike YOU!

Cory Herd – The two ideas are related. This man has both his legs wrapped around the other man's hips. The ONLY reason it's not a sexual act is because they still have their clothes on. I think an act like this should be kept "in the closet" so that it is private. I just feel if society becomes acceptable of public displays like this, what would it later evolve to? Couldn't they have shared a normal kiss instead of straddling each other? I'm an Army wife and would never think of doing this to my husband with children present. I could care less what gender these people are, this is meant for the bedroom. I would have loved to see a more tasteful picture of these two embracing each other.

It says in the bible that homosexuality is wrong. It also says that if a woman lets her hair show, she can be publicly stoned to death. And if children disobey their parents, they should be put to death. It also argues against drinking, and eating pig, and divorce, all things that most of the general public accept. I'm not saying the bible is wrong, I'm just saying that if you're going to base the whole of your argument on the bible, you should read it first. And it's going to be hard for the rest of us to take you seriously if you stand by parts of the bible as holy law, but ignore other parts of it as irrelevant.
