‘Better Call Saul’ Spoilers, Renewal News: What Can Fans Expect?

The Season 1 finale of AMC’s Better Call Saul airs Monday night and fans are disappointed to see this debut season end already. The Breaking Bad spinoff has been a hit for the network, news that surprises nobody. What can fans expect from the April 6 finale? Will Better Call Saul be back for Season 2?

As the Hollywood Reporter notes, Monday’s Season 1 finale will show Jimmy shaken by what he’s learned about his brother Chuck. Better Call Saul spoilers indicate that Jimmy will also continue to deal with the fraud case he’s uncovered, even though things haven’t moved along as he anticipated.

Bob Odenkirk, who plays Jimmy McGill/Saul Goodman, will have an “epic monologue” in this episode. Odenkirk teases that it was a big challenge for him, as it was apparently an intricate piece that needed to be done exactly as written. It’s a long one that may be the best he’s ever delivered.

Viewers may have thought they had an idea of what to expect from this Breaking Bad spinoff, but there have been many surprises along the way. Despite things shifting or moving more slowly than many anticipated, for the most part fans have stuck with the show and are anxious to see how things end in this debut season.

Additional Better Call Saul spoilers indicate that Jimmy and Mike will reconnect at the parking booth, and Jimmy will return to Hamlin, Hamlin & McGill. As TV Guide teases, this Season 1, Episode 10 show is titled “Marco” and it seems he’ll be reconnecting with an old friend, seemingly Kim.

Jimmy has had some harsh words for Kim in previous episodes, but it seems now he’ll be giving her an apology. In addition, Chuck has some adjustments to make in his own life. The big question is, of course, where does Jimmy go from here after all that’s happened with Chuck and his case?

While viewers may have to hang tight for now to see that transition where Jimmy McGill becomes Saul Goodman, the good news is that it is coming. AMC has already renewed Better Call Saul for Season 2. The network has ordered 13 episodes, but fans may be disappointed to learn that there will be a wait before they are ready to air. It is expected that Season 2 will premiere in early 2016.

As TV Series Finale noted, AMC renewed Better Call Saul for Season 2 some time before Season 1 even premiered. The network clearly had a lot of faith in this being a hit, and it’s obvious that the writers have big plans for this second season. While fans will have to stay tuned for a bit before a specific Season 2 premiere date is released, everybody can watch the Season 1 finale Monday night and rest assured that more is on the way.

Just what will Jimmy say in this epic monologue? How will fans be left hanging until the next season? Tune in to the Season 1 finale of Better Call Saul airing Monday, April 6 on AMC to find out.
