Banker Tells 99% To Screw Themselves, Tips 1% on Bill
A Banker has decided to have his say about the Occupy Wall Street Movement. He has decided that when he goes to eat he is only going to tip 1% on all his bills in complete disregard of the 99%.
One of his dining partners was so disgusted by his behavior he took a picture of the check he saw and posted it online. In addition to leaving only a 1% tip he writes a bit of a tip of his own, writing “Get a real job!”.
The employee who took the picture of the check write a little background about the Banker on his blog saying,
“Mention the “99%” in my boss’ presence and feel his wrath. So proudly does he wear his 1% badge of honor that he tips exactly 1% every time he feels the server doesn’t sufficiently bow down to his Holiness. Oh, and he always makes sure to include a “tip” of his own.”
He further stated,
“I work in the corporate office of a major bank for a boss who represents everything wrong with the financial industry: blatant disregard and outright contempt for everyone and everything he deems beneath him. On top of that, he’s a complete and utter tool. At the same time, I’m still cashing paychecks, an admittedly willing—albeit reluctant—cog in the wheel of this increasingly ugly industry, so I’ve created this blog as a confessional of sorts. It won’t entirely clear my conscience, but hopefully it’ll help. I’m sure I’ll get fired eventually. Until then, enjoy.”
The restaurant was made aware of the poorly tipping customer and told the Huffington Post that they will be compensating the waitress for her service even if this jerk would not.

Oh, yes, he is being very unfair! Has he every worked as a server in a restaurant? Does he know how hard and back-killing the work is? Does he know that servers are paid BELOW the minimum wage, which is why we pay tips to them? Of course not! Nor does he care.
My son worked as a server in D.C. after his internship ended. On his first day, he figured out how to get and keep his customers' orders accurate – and he served his tables with a smile. If I were to encounter this banker I'd give him a tip of my own – I'd "tip" that steaming-hot bowl of soup served by Daniel Ketchum into his lap.

This guy isn't a jerk he's a FIRST CLASS ASSHOLE. I hope his customers see this and stop doing business with his bank. Let him go out of business or get fired and then he'll learn how it is to work a real job, maybe as a server somewhere.

I'd serve him his 99% of his soup OOPS in his lap, his coffee OOPS over his head but then again what do you expect from Us 1% lowlifes that work for a living. Find him out/oust him and let him work for a real living as a 1%'er and see how far he gets…and likes it!

Wait a minute. This says nothing about the service provided. I believe a 1% tip is a big "fuck you", but maybe this server deserved it. Breanna may have messed up all the orders, had her hair in the food when it came out, or any number of things. This seems a bit one sided. And on the other side of it, I was given quite a bit of crap from a server at BW3 for leaving a tip above 20%.
