Bon Jovi’s Richie Sambora Denies Death Threat To Ex-Girlfriend Nikki Lund
Richie Sambora, former Bon Jovi guitarist, denies making a death threat against his ex-girlfriend Nikki Lund, TMZ reports. A rep for Sambora says he had a heated phone call with Nikki Lund and quit their business partnership but “never threatened to bury her in the desert.”
“The former Bon Jovi guitarist acknowledges talking to Nikki last month about the clothing line they own together… Nikki Rich. His rep says Richie told her he was backing out of the business because he was hemorrhaging money — having lost $4 million on the venture,” TMZ reported, “Lund tells a different story. Earlier this week, she filed a report with the L.A. County Sheriff’s department claiming Sambora threatened to ‘dig a hole in the desert and bury’ her during the phone call. Deputies are now investigating.”
The rep for Sambora claims Nikki Lund was attacking him on the phone because Richie Sambora withdrew financial backing for the business venture they were involved in. Sambora accuses Lund of being bitter over the breakup of their business partnership and says the Sheriff will not file charges once his side of the story is heard.
The New York Daily News reports that Los Angeles police are investigating claims that Sambora, during a heated phone argument he had with ex-girlfriend Nikki Lund last month, threatened to kill her and “dig a hole in the desert and bury” her, UtlimateClassicRock reported. “I am confirming we are investigating such an incident,” an LAPD sergeant told the Daily News, adding that they were responding to a call from a woman who appears to be Lund. “She stated that Mr. Sambora made some threats against her,” he added. “Deputies tried to contact Mr. Sambora, but he was not at his residence. A report was taken, and now Malibu Lost Hills detectives are investigating.”
The split between Nikki Lund and Richie Sambora appears to have come after the two split over the “Nikki Rich” brand of fashion products that Lund was developing with financial backing from Richie Sambora. In confrontation over that split in business relationship, Sambora allegedly threatened to kill Lund.” Richie Sambora denies making such a death threat.
Sambora has allegedly threatened Nikki Lund with killing and burying her, the Inquisitr reported yesterday. The feud is turning into a he-said, she-said kind of dispute.
Nikki Lund and Richie Sambora have been in a relationship for about 10 years, but last year, they began a business partnership to market a clothing line designed by Lund. The end of their relationship appears to have also ended the business partnership between Richie Sambora and Nikki Lund.
