‘Jay And Silent Bob’s’ Jason Mewes Welcomes Baby Girl

It was a happy April Fools’ for Jay and Silent Bob’s Jason Mewes. The star of many View Askew films welcomed his first child with wife Jordan Monsanto. Mewes and his wife welcomed a healthy baby girl named Logan Lee Mewes.

According to E! Online, Jason Mewes’ representative told the outlet that Logan Lee Mewes weighed seven pounds and 11 ounces and was 20 inches long. Longtime friend and collaborator Kevin Smith excitedly shared the news of little Logan’s arrival after Mewes had the first honors.

Smith shared the photo he took of the three with a caption that said, “FAMILY WAY JAY! Congrats to my faithful friends & business buddies @jordanmonsanto and @jaymewes on the arrival of their beautiful l’il baby girl, Logan!”

Clearly excited, the father-to-be posted a photo prior to Logan’s arrival of Monsanto’s bare bump with a caption.

After Logan’s arrival, the actor excitedly shared one of the first photos of his daughter, complete with a caption that truly fits his character Jay.

The couple had the name Logan planned for some time, as Jason revealed their daughter’s name early on. All throughout the pregnancy, Mewes has documented the event through photos on different social network sites.

Since Logan’s birth, many fans have reached out to Jason to congratulate him and his wife Jordan.

Mewes has been sober and off of drugs since the debut of his podcast with Kevin Smith Jay & Silent Bob Grow Old. The podcast, which debuted in 2010, was a way for Mewes to take accountability for his sobriety.
