Brooke Mueller Charged With Felony Possession of Cocaine With Intent to Distribute

Brooke Mueller, Charlie Sheen’s former girlfriend, has just been charged with two felonies stemming from her arrest last December in Aspen, Colorado. Mueller was charged with cocaine possession and possession with intent to distribute, as well as a misdemeanor of third-degree assault.

E! Online reports that the charges stem from an incident last December at the Belly Up nightclub in Aspen where Mueller allegedly assaulted another patron. Cops found Mueller at a nearby club, the Escobar nightclub, where she was searched for drugs. The police found cocaine on her person and booked her into the Pitkin County Jail.

At the time, her ex-boyfriend Charlie Sheen said that he didn’t believe that Mueller was dealing drugs. Sheen said that she has more than enough money and doesn’t need to sell drugs. Sheen said:

“With the child support I give her… she’s gonna deal drugs? Never gonna happen…. The cops in Aspen are Keystone on their finest day… these are the clowns that let [Ted] Bundy go.”

CBS reports that Mueller was charged with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute because she allegedly had more than four grams of cocaine on her person. Mueller could face up to 6-years in prison if she is convicted. Officials also charged Mueller with simple possession, meaning that she had less than four grams of cocaine, which carries a sentence of 18 months in jail.

Mueller, who is currently out on bail, returned to LA after completing a three month rehab program. Her rep Steve Honig said:

“Brooke is feeling better than ever before, and is committed to continuing treatment for as long as necessary to maintain her total and complete sobriety.”

Do you think Brooke Mueller was dealing cocaine? Mueller will head back to court on March 5th to face her felony charges.
