2015 Cracker Barrel Easter Menu, Restaurant Hours: Dine-In Or Take-Out, Enjoy A Budget-Friendly Easter Dinner

Going out to eat on Easter Sunday? Cracker Barrel will be open for business on Sunday, April 5 if you’re looking for a budget-friendly holiday meal with no dishes to clean up. Take-out orders and the new “Easter Meal to Go” are also available at the popular country-themed restaurant.

If you choose to dine-in to enjoy a ham dinner with all the fixings, expect a bit of a wait on Sunday. The National Restaurant Association reports that more than 33 million people will eat out on Easter, so long lines at popular restaurants will be the norm. Fortunately, Cracker Barrel stores have gift shops and comfy rocking chairs that will help occupy your time (and your wallet) while you wait.

What time does Cracker Barrel open and what’s on the Easter Sunday menu? Most locations open as early as 6 a.m. and close at 10 p.m. Call ahead to find out if the location near you has special holiday hours.

Cracker Barrel restaurants do not offer a specific dine-in Easter menu, but the regular menu features a “Country Dinner Plates” section — choose from Sugar Cured Ham or Hickory Smoked Country Ham dinner, with your choice of cornbread or biscuits, and two sides. Prices range depending on location, but most entrees at Cracker Barrel range between $10 and $15 each.

Restaurant.org states that 40 percent of people surveyed prefer ham as their main dish on Easter. However, the survey also shows that 48 percent of diners will head to their favorite restaurant, “regardless of Easter specials” to enjoy their holiday meal.

If you would rather eat in the comfort of your own home, Cracker Barrel offers a full “Meals to Go” take-out menu, including a new menu item — the “Easter Meal to Go.” This heat and serve meal feeds eight to 10 people for $89.99 and is a great option for your holiday dinner if you don’t want to cook but prefer not to eat in a crowded noisy restaurant.

According to Cracker Barrel, the Easter take-out meal includes a whole spiral ham, chicken salad, deviled eggs, rolls, a buttermilk chess pie, and four side dishes. Order by phone at your local Cracker Barrel (24-hour notice) and pick up between April 3 and April 5.
