Teresa Giudice Reportedly Turned Family Prison Photo Into $75K Payday

Reality star Teresa Giudice reportedly turned a recent family photo into a lucrative business opportunity.

Teresa and Joe Giudice were photographed along with the couple’s four daughters inside of the visitation room of the Federal Correctional Institution in Danbury, CT.

The photographs were reportedly shared exclusively with Us Weekly by the Giudice family. In addition to seeing a captured moment of the family’s brief reunion, the photo also gives fans and critics a look at what Teresa Giudice looks like behind bars.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey star has a very curly hairstyle that is shorter than it was in most RHONJ episodes. As a replacement of her usually lavish wardrobe, the 42-year-old wife and mother is also pictured wearing her standard green prison jumpsuit.

Us Weekly used one of the photographs from the reunion as a cover of a future issue.

According to Radar Online, though, Teresa Giudice is not necessarily walking away from that photo opportunity empty-handed.

Teresa reportedly received $75,000 for the photographs. An inside source opened up to Radar with details about how the photo session came to be in the first place and why the alleged payday was likely right on time for the Giudice family.

“It was staged in the prison using a service where inmates can take photos with family each Sunday. The family desperately needs the money and Teresa had no problem with using her family to make a few extra bucks while she’s behind bars — she’s shameless!”

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Teresa Giudice’s estimated net worth is -$11 million. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, her home could go into foreclosure.

With Teresa Giudice behind bars until next year, the financial burden of the household rests mostly on Joe Giudice’s shoulders. However, a family insider reportedly told Radar that he is struggling with that.

“The family is broke and has absolutely no money coming in… and there is nothing in a savings or checking account. Joe still hasn’t gotten a job, and isn’t even looking.”

Teresa is currently scheduled to be released from prison on February 5, 2016, according to People magazine.

If Teresa Giudice accepted a $75,000 payment for her family reunion photos, did she make the right decision?
