Andy Cohen Says ‘RHOBH’ Reunion ‘More Ratchet’ Than ‘RHOA’ Reunion, Talks ‘RHONJ’ Casting

Viewers may be in for a shock when they watch The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 5 reunion show, the first part of which airs on Tuesday night. On Monday evening, the show’s executive producer and reunion host, Andy Cohen, revealed that the Beverly Hills reunion is even uglier and trashier than the Season 7 The Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion show.

Andy answered some viewers questions via Twitter as he waited for his flight to take off. One person asked him how the Beverly Hills reunion compares to the Atlanta reunion, which filmed last Friday. Surprisingly, Andy replied that the Beverly Hills one is “more ratchet.”

A preview of the Season 5 Beverly Hills reunion shows the women dropping several cuss words when arguing with one another. Things get particularly nasty between sisters Kim Richards and Kyle Richards, with Kyle even breaking down in tears and screaming at Kim to leave her alone.

So, it seems that the Season 7 Atlanta reunion will be more tame than the previous one. During the Season 6 reunion, Porsha Williams physically attacked Kenya Moore after Kenya yelled at her with a scepter pointed at her face and then through a bullhorn. The attack resulted in Porsha’s early dismissal from the reunion and subsequent arrest.

On Saturday, the Inquisitr reported that several of the Atlanta housewives, including Kenya, have shared their reactions to filming the reunion. Kenya said that there was no violence but that something, “the most unexpected,” happened. Andy also said that the latest reunion is “different” from reunions past and that viewers “will be surprised.”

During his Twitter Q&A, Andy also talked about The Real Housewives of New Jersey. Andy revealed that the cast for the seventh season is still being worked on and that it may be a while until it’s finalized.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Andy Cohen said, during an interview that took place little more than a week ago, that no one has been cast yet for the seventh season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey. He added that the casting company is “doing a wide net.” As for its arguably biggest and most controversial star, Teresa Giudice, who isn’t expected out of prison until early 2016 and then will have to raise her four daughters as a single mom while her husband serves his 41-month sentence, Andy said that he is checking in on how she’s doing through Dina Manzo. He concluded simply that he’s taking a wait-and-see approach with Teresa.
