NeNe Leakes Talks Reunion: ‘RHOA’ Star Admits She Is No Longer Writing Her Blogs
The Real Housewives of Atlanta star NeNe Leakes has been on the show since the very beginning, and she has often talked about how the newer housewives are only joining the show to ride on the coat tails of the original women. Many of the new women claim they are not interested in being NeNe Leakes, but NeNe is always skeptical of new cast members. And it sounds like NeNe is ready to take a step back.
This weekend, NeNe Leakes and the other housewives filmed the reunion and surely, there was a lot to talk about since Leakes stormed out of the therapy session with Dr. Jeff and the other ladies. Even though NeNe can’t say much about the reunion show, she did speak out via her personal website this weekend, and what she said surprised many viewers.
According to a new statement from NeNe Leakes herself, The Real Housewives of Atlanta star NeNe Leakes shared her thoughts on the reunion show, but she also dropped a bombshell. Leakes will no longer be writing her blogs for the show, even though it is very much a possible contract clause for filming the show.
“I feel like I been in a daze for the past few days! Really mentally drained,” NeNe Leakes reveals about filming the reunion, adding, “I went in feeling very at peace and I had mentally accepted things I could not change. I had made my mind up that there were people I would NEVER talk to again in life….but God! Won’t he do it! #RHOAREUNION #WAIT4IT.”
Of course, NeNe Leakes has often acted as if she was better than everyone else, including the original housewives. Leakes went from dancing on a pole to signing major contracts and filming shows in Hollywood. Now, Leakes doesn’t want to defend her actions anymore in her blogs.
“I don’t think I will be writing anymore blogs. What I wanna do is let you write my blogs! So I’m gonna choose 3 blogs to post each week on my website after the remaining episodes. I’ll let you tell me what you think of my NEW jealous hater & the rest of the girls,” NeNe revealed to her followers.
Leakes has often threatened to quit the show, but it sounds like she wants the money she gets from The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Rumor has it that she and Kim Zolciak will reunite and film a spin-off together. But until then, it sounds like NeNe will continue to bash her co-stars. According to the Inquisitr, Leakes is quick in pointing the finger and she claims that Kandi Burruss failed Phaedra Parks when she really needed a friend.
