Rachel Hollis: Mom Of Three Posts Viral Bikini Pic, Has Strong Message For Both Men And Women

Rachel Hollis got herself some unintentional internet fame when she posted a photo of herself in a bikini. According to People Magazine, Hollis’ picture has gone viral. Why? Thousands of people have seen the photo that shows Hollis and her post-baby stretch marks, and people have been so inspired by Hollis’ no-shame attitude. There are quite a few moms out there who wouldn’t dream of letting the world see their midsection after baby, but Hollis has had three kids, and she’s not the least bit worried about how people perceive her.

“I sort of just put it out there. I didn’t think about it for a second. I’m amazed that it touched such a nerve. I don’t have the words to describe what this week has been. I’ve never had anything like this happen before – I mean, I think very few people do, so you don’t anticipate it. I honestly hoped it would get 20 likes, so this is completely overwhelming and exciting and humbling!”

Rachel Hollis was on vacation in Cancun when she posted the photo. According to The Hollywood Gossip, Hollis says that she wears a bikini because she is proud of her body. The marks left behind on her stomach are from carrying her three children, and that’s something that makes her happy.

Over 10 million people have now seen the Facebook photo, which is inspiring to so many people in so many ways.

“I hope that that continues to grow. I hope other women pick up that torch and run with it,” said Hollis. There has been a lot of controversy surrounding body image over the years, and each time something like this arises, it’s just plain refreshing. Usually, online photos get chewed up and spit out.

Rachel Hollis’ three kids are 8, 6, and 2. Standing at 5 feet 2 inches, Hollis says that she’s never going to have a model’s body, and that she has always been on the heavier side. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Hollis is happy with what she’s got, and she’s not trying to be anyone else but herself.

“[My body is] never ever going to be like a Victoria’s Secret model, but I think I look good, and my husband wants to make out with me, so I’m doing something right,” she said.
