Niall Horan: One Direction Star Dating Model Amy Willerton?
Now that the furor about Zayn Malik quitting One Direction is dying down, we can get back to important matters like just who is heartthrob Niall Horan dating? Hunky Niall was recently linked with Australian, Melissa Whitelaw, but if today’s press is to be believed then that speculation was no more than a ruse designed to cover who Niall is really dating.
The Daily Mail claims today that Niall Horan has been dating beautiful British model, Amy Willerton, since before Christmas, and the couple have managed to keep their relationship secret. The Mail claims that a source has told The Sun that 22-year-old Amy and 21-year-old Niall have enjoyed cozy nights in together at Niall Horan’s home. Amy managed to keep the relationship secret by arriving for dates with Niall in the company of several mutual friends.
According to the Mirror, Niall and the former Miss Universe contestant were desperate to keep their relationship under wraps and met in secret. A source close to Niall Horan apparently told The Sun that “Niall and Amy have done well to keep their friendship under wraps.”
“They’re private people and don’t want to highlight their celebrity friends where possible. Plus it would set tongues wagging about a relationship. They stay in touch but won’t see each other until Niall returns. They have never discussed getting together but they have a soft spot for one another.”
It seems that the couple have stayed in close contact while Niall is away on One Direction’s “On The Road Again” world tour, which runs through until October.
A spokesperson for Niall Horan has denied that Niall and Amy are in a relationship and claims that the couple are no more than friends. Like the rest of the members of One Direction, speculation is always rife about Niall Horan’s love life. In the past, Niall has been linked with Katy Perry, Demi Lovato, Ellie Goulding, Selena Gomez, and bandmate Harry Styles’ sister Gemma, among a host of others.
Meanwhile, in the wake of Zayn Malik quitting the band for good, Niall Horan and the rest of the boys are trying to prove that the show must go on. Niall and his mates played two shows without Malik in Johannesburg, South Africa over the weekend. They have one further show to play in Capetown before heading to Dubai. Niall and the others will be home for Easter and then have a break in their world tour until June.
It isn’t likely that Niall Horan and his mates will have much of a rest though, as Niall tweeted over the weekend that work is to start on their new album. The last on the current five-year, five-album deal with Simon Cowell’s SyCo.
