Prince George, Prince Charles Photobombed For Earth Hour As Duchess Kate’s Fans Bet On Baby Names [Video]

Did adorably royal Prince George just photobomb stately grandpa Prince Charles? Yup, that’s what it looks like as the toddler’s royal mummy Duchess Kate Middleton prepares to deliver his new brother or sister, reported USA Today.

The cuter-than-cute photobomb came when Prince Charles created a video to show his support for Earth Hour. The environmental event today involves flipping off the electricity, according to the organization’s website.

“HRH The Prince of Wales is taking part in the world’s biggest environmental event, Earth Hour on Saturday 28 March at 8.30pm, by turning off all non-essential lighting at his residences.”

And there, framed on a table, is the photo of little Prince George, arranged just so as to provide the perfect photobomb opportunity for his doting grandpa.

Although the world can’t help but focus on the cuteness of his grandson, Prince Charles sought to make his point about the environmental cause.

“Switching off the lights for Earth Hour is a statement of intent by everyone who takes part, making them part of a community which recognizes that we really do only have one planet, and that we have a duty to protect it–not just for ourselves, but also for our children and grandchildren.”

With royal watchers emphasizing the “grandchildren” part of that equation, they’re also placing bets on the baby name that Duchess Kate and Prince William will choose for their soon-to-be-born baby, reported Hello magazine.

Ladbroke ranks as one of the top betting firms in the United Kingdom. Its representative, Jessica Bridge, reports that the name Elizabeth is the leader of the pack at five to one odds. The next most popular names include Charlotte, Alexandra, and James.

“The betting is certainly heating up with around a month to go now,” added Jessica.

As to the royal significance of those names? British historians highly regard Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother, wife of King George VI, while both the current Queen of England and her own mother were named Elizabeth.

Adding to the potential that Duchess Kate and William will choose the name Elizabeth, her due date is in the middle to the end of April, and Queen Elizabeth’s birthday is April 21.

While all the betting goes on, Princess Kate is caring for herself with a holistic diet and beauty regime, as the Inquisitr reported. Unruffled by the royal ruckus that reportedly is taking place as Prince Charles tries to see more of Prince George, Duchess Kate has stopped dying her hair in order to maintain a healthy pregnancy.
