Britney Spears: Math Class Adds To Quest To Become World’s Greatest Mom, And Here’s How She Bribes Sons [Video]

Britney Spears is taking math classes for a reason that parents everywhere will appreciate. The singing superstar is struggling to help her sons master the art of algebra, she told People.

Beyond those pesky plus signs and stubborn subtraction symbols that her sons are studying this year, Britney Spears just wants to make sure she’s ahead of the addition game for next year. She revealed that 9-year-old Sean Preston and 8-year-old Jayden James are enrolled in a particularly challenging school.

“They go to a really hard school, and this week we had three hours of homework [a night]. Some of it is hard for me. Next year when [Preston’s] in fifth grade, he’s going to be doing pre-algebra, and I’m taking classes so I know how to do it!”

While Britney believes in the benefits of studying, she’s not above bribery, confessed the singer.

“Homework is a priority, and we have a reward system that helps motivate them,” revealed Brit. “If they get so many A’s, they get one toy a month.”

As for play time, Britney revealed that her sons switch from energetic exercise to polishing their appearance, just like their mom. They love their background jungle gym and trampoline, but also devote time to primping in front of the looking glass.

“The kids just got into doing their hair and truing to be cool, which is really funny,” she admitted in amusement. “Preston wants to be Justin Bieber, and Jayden has this whole Jim Carrey look.”

In addition to those toys, Britney is considering giving her boys an allowance, revealed Fox News.

“Preston just asked for a high allowance like $10 a week or $20 a week — but we’ll see,” Spears said.

In addition to having to finish their homework, Preston and Jayden are required to help with housework. That means caring for the dogs, emptying the trash, and washing the dishes.

However, that debate over dollars doesn’t mean that Britney can’t afford the money to motivate them. At 33, she earns $50 million a year from her Las Vegas residency.

In addition, as the Inquisitr reported, Spears has created her own swimsuit and lingerie Intimate Britney Spears Collection.

“Every woman should feel confident and beautiful in everything she puts on,” explained Britney of her rationale for the collection. “My vision for The Intimate Britney Spears is to create pieces that are sexy, luxurious and comfortable at the same time.”
