A missing boy’s body was found in a septic tank on Thursday, according to police. USA Today reports that 5-year-old Noah Thomas went missing on Sunday, last seen with his mother at his home in Dublin, Virginia. He had reportedly been watching television when his mom decided to take a nap. She says that when she woke up, Noah was gone. It is unknown if Noah wandered out of the house on his own, or if someone entered the home and took him. There is also speculation that a family member may have been involved in the young boy’s death.
Police say that an investigation surrounding Noah’s death is still ongoing and that his family has been fully cooperating.

“Several hundred law enforcement officers and volunteers had been searching for him since then. Police had received more than 100 tips from around the country. Davis said earlier Thursday that the tips included sightings of boys and reports of suspicious vehicles in the child’s neighborhood.”
The boy’s body found in the septic tank remains a mystery at this time. Relatives have expressed a strong desire to find out who may have been behind this act, and it sounds like foul play has not been ruled out at this time.
“You don’t get into a septic tank by accident. Someone’s going to pay,” said Noah’s uncle, Jason Thomas.

While the public seems to be jumping to conclusions and blaming the boy’s parents, police have advised against such thought. Ashley Jennifer White, 31, and Paul Raymond Thomas, 32, are said to be “distraught” over the death of their little boy, and are “living a nightmare.” They have not released a statement since their son’s body was found.
According to Yahoo! News, the medical examiner’s office is working diligently to find out Noah’s cause of death. Once that information becomes available, authorities hope to put pieces to this puzzle together and figure out exactly what happened to Noah Thomas.
As previously reported by the Inquisitr, no arrests have been made in the case, and there aren’t any suspects at this time. Further details about the crime scene were unavailable at the time of this report.
