Million Mustache March Planned for April to Support STACHE Act

A million mustache march is being planned by the American Mustache Institute in order to gain support for the STACHE Act.

According to the Global News Wire, the STACHE Act (Stimulus to Allow Critical Hair Expenses) would provide a $250 annual tax deduction for mustache grooming supplies. The American Mustache Institute is starting an an online campaign encouraging people to post mustache photos on Facebook, and will host a million mustache march from the U.S. Capitol to the White House on April 1st.

Dr. John Yeutter suggests that mustached gentlemen make more money, make better decisions, and should be encouraged to grow out and trim their mustaches.

Yeutter said:

“Given the clear link between the growing and maintenance of mustaches and incremental income, it appears clear that mustache maintenance costs qualify for and should be considered as a deductible expense related to the production of income under Internal Revenue Code Section 212.”

Dr. Aaron Perlut of the American Mustache Institute adds that mustaches also make a gentleman 38% more attractive.

“Long ago U.S. citizens tired of being called ‘Ugly Americans,’ along with our scientific analysis, demonstrated that good-looking mustaches increase good looks by 38 percent. But those good looks come at a price — in the form of purchasing mustache trimmers, wax, coloring products and bacon. Now it’s the government’s turn to support our economic needs.”

What do you think of the STACHE Act? Would you support the STACHE Act if John Oates told you too?
