New Jersey Housewife Melissa Gorga Is Writing Teresa Giudice In Prison: Is She Writing Back?

New Jersey housewife Melissa Gorga has been keeping in touch with her sister-in-law, Teresa Giudice, her co-star on The Real Housewives of New Jersey, by writing her letters and sending them to the federal correctional facility in Danbury, Connecticut.

During an appearance on VH1’s Big Morning Buzz Live with Nick Lachey, the New Jersey star spoke out about her correspondence with the incarcerated Giudice, confirming she is doing “really well.”

On March 27, Radar Online reported on the appearance.

“She’s doing really well, I haven’t seen her, I think she is saving visits for her kids and her husband. I’ve written to her. She can e-mail. She e-mails with her brother.”

According to the Radar Online report, the New Jersey star did not reveal whether or not she had gotten letters back from Giudice after writing.

“I think she is doing really well for her circumstances.”

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Gorga will reportedly return to The Real Housewives of New Jersey for Season 7, as Giudice remains behind bars. Although Giudice’s prison term won’t be completed until early 2016, filming is scheduled to begin in late May or early June, and Gorga could be one of seven wives.

On March 26, Radar Online reported that Bravo has met with several women who could potentially join the New Jersey cast for Season 7. Among those women were Traci Lynn Johnson, wife of NFL star Tiki Barber, Amber Sabathia, wife of Yankees star CC Sabathia, and Maria Bierk, ex-wife of rocker Sebastian Bach.

“Bravo has a list of seven names, but Tiki’s wife has already turned the offer down. It just wasn’t going to make sense for Tiki and [Traci] to do the show at this point. But Sebastian’s ex-wife Maria is extremely interested in joining the show.”

The report claimed producers of the New Jersey reality show were hoping to take the series in a different direction, now that Giudice has been forced to sit out, at least for the upcoming season.

In a separate report by E! News, an insider claimed New Jersey producers were hoping to glam up The Real Housewives of New Jersey and make it more like The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, whose stars are known for their over-the-top lifestyles rather than their table-flipping behavior (at least for the most part).

The Real Housewives of New Jersey’s seventh season has yet to be officially confirmed by Bravo.
