WWE News: Interview With Roman Reigns On Main Eventing WrestleMania And Facing Seth Rollins

In two days, Roman Reigns, WWE superstar, is about to do what only a handful of WWE superstars before him have accomplished. Reigns will be taking on Brock Lesnar for the WWE World Heavyweight championship at WrestleMania. That isn’t’ the incredible part. Reigns is about to main event WrestleMania before his 30th birthday.

Not many men can say that have main-evented the biggest show in WWE’s calendar year before they were 30. In fact, with only 31 WrestleMania shows about to be completed, not many have actually closed out the show in its history.

Dating back to Reigns’ debut in the professional wrestling industry, the Samoan-born wrestler didn’t see his WrestleMania main event date coming.

“It’s hard, because you picture yourself doing it. You create this goal of getting there, but you never know when it is going to happen. That’s the beautiful thing about WWE, because you never know. It’s so unpredictable and life is moving so fast and being on the road so much, there are so many different situations and opportunities that pop up. ”

“For me, it’s an extreme blessing.”

One of the best things about Roman Reigns is his humble attitude and good nature. Not many people that have achieved his level of success this swiftly can claim they aren’t cocky and boastful. Reigns already gets a ton of grief from the WWE Universe with the idea that he’s being handed his chance at the WWE title.

To prove that point is purely subjective, Reigns doesn’t have a dream-WrestleMania opponent.

“Just being involved in WrestleMania is a dream. To be able to pick out an opponent, that’s such a crazy scenario. I have to honestly say, that I’m in a dream match right now fighting Brock Lesnar.”

After months of hard work, Reigns is improving on the microphone. That is translating to the television screen as well. Reigns began working with Snickers in their latest campaign, “Who are you when you’re hungry?” contest. The number-one contender is being used to promote this new campaign that gives fans the opportunity to win $50,000. Reigns did very well with this television spot, which you can see below:

The WWE Universe believes Roman Reigns will slay the “Beast Incarnate” and capture the WWE World Heavyweight championship on Sunday evening. Rumors are already swirling on the Internet that Reigns will be taking on former-Shield teammate Seth Rollins after WrestleMania. It’s no secret that a feud between those two would sell tickets.

The matches will sell due to their history together, as well as the product in the ring. There will be raw emotion coming from both men that wouldn’t be artificial. Often times, the best feuds in WWE have a sense of reality in it. Look at the program between CM Punk and John Cena; both men had passion in their promos. It’s one of the best rivalries in the past 10 years.

In a recent interview, Roman Reigns has displayed his eagerness to face-off against Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins in a Triple Threat match at WrestleMania 32. It’s easy to say that the WWE fans will buy a ticket quickly for that match. However, Reigns has to focus on winning the WWE World Heavyweight championship first. If that were to happen at WrestleMania this Sunday, Rollins would be the first to get a chance.

“I think he’s at the top of his game right now. He’s also running around with that Money in the Bank briefcase with that contract that he can cash in on the WWE champion at anytime. For me, let’s not play games; don’t try and circle around me.”

“Don’t try and sneak behind my back. Step up like a man and let’s do it in front of the world.”

After choice words for Mr. Money in the Bank, Roman Reigns must back up those words and defeat Brock Lesnar for the WWE title in two days. Just like his cousin, the Rock, Reigns never backed down from a challenge, and he’s consistently got better during his time in WWE. The question is, will all that hard work pay off at WrestleMania?
