‘RHOBH’ Friendship Ends: Lisa Vanderpump Is Done With Brandi’s ‘Endless Accusations,’ Speaks Of Finale In Blog

The RHOBH friendship between Lisa Vanderpump and Brandi Glanville is “unsalvageable.”

On March 25, Vanderpump took to her Bravo blog where she confirmed the end of her and Glanville’s RHOBH friendship, claiming Glanville may have been using her during previous seasons of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. When discussing the possible regret Glanville may be feeling about the end of their RHOBH friendship, Vanderpump suggested she was more upset about how the loss of Vanderpump’s ties would impact her role on the show.

“I think there was genuine remorse that a friendship which benefited her initially when she joined the group and we had both enjoyed was unsalvageable.”

During The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 5, Vanderpump and Glanville’s RHOBH friendship appeared to be heading in the right direction during a cast trip to Amsterdam. While enjoying dinner with their co-stars, the two women bantered back and forth before Glanville quickly put an end to any chance their RHOBH friendship had.

As she pretended to act out a scene from The Love Boat, Glanville slapped Vanderpump in the face after she joked about doing the same to her. Although Vanderpump didn’t actually plan to slap Glanville, Glanville took her comment as a suggestion and hit her on the cheek.

While the slap didn’t injure Vanderpump physically, it certainly took their strained RHOBH friendship to another level. Added with their drama from last season, it was enough to push Vanderpump over the edge. As she explained, there simply wasn’t enough good to go with all the bad.

“I never once said the slap was hard. The endless accusations last season of lying, deportation, bankruptcy, Ken abusing Yolanda…all that was accumulative and there was not enough there to counter balance it.”

The RHOBH friendship between Vanderpump and Glanville began after Glanville was added to the cast for Season 2. Appearing as a “friend of the wives” on Season 2, Glanville was introduced to the cast and immediately struck up a friendship with Vanderpump. However, during Season 4, the RHOBH friendship grew distant after Vanderpump suggested Glanville drink less. The friendship was also reportedly strained because of Vanderpump’s closeness to Scheana Marie, star of Vanderpump Rules, and former mistress of Glanville’s ex-husband, Eddie Cibrian.

Despite their issues, as the Inquisitr reported, Glanville was frustrated with Vanderpump when she didn’t support her through her father’s illness. During the finale, Glanville couldn’t understand why Vanderpump acted like she didn’t “give a f–k.”

For more details on the end of this RHOBH friendship, be sure to tune into The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills‘ three-part reunion show, which begins airing next Tuesday night at 9 p.m. on Bravo.
