19 Kids and Counting fans are anxiously waiting for the arrival of “Baby Dilly,” Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard’s first son. Jill is officially past her due date now, but her latest Instagram photo shows that she and her hubby are still wrapping up some necessary details before the baby arrives. What’s the latest?

Jill Duggar Dillard shared a photo via Instagram of Derick getting the baby car seat secured into their vehicle. She said that “Papa Dilly” had installed the seat, and they were ready for their little guy to come any day now.

As is often the case, however, the comment section of the Instagram post got a little crazy. While many 19 Kids and Counting fans are simply excited for Baby Dilly news and thrilled for Jill and Derick, others went back and forth about the car seat installation. Many feel that from the photo shared, there may be some issues regarding the installation.

Of course, there were a number of fans who pointed out that Derick may still be working on the installation, though his thumbs-up sign may seem like an indication they thought they were all set. While Jill, of course, has seen a car seat installation or two given her 18 siblings, many 19 Kids fans are noting that it’s easy to find places to get the installation checked, so Jill and Derick can make sure they are truly all set.

As Today shared late last year, an enormous percentage of new parents have their infant car seats installed incorrectly, or place their babies in the seats incorrectly. Common mistakes include using both the LATCH and seatbelt to secure the seat, having it at the wrong angle, or having it too loose. The straps are often too loose or too low, and experts now recommend keeping a child rear-facing for at least two years, though many parents choose to keep the babies facing the rear until their car seat limits are reached.

19 Kids fans know that, of course, Jill and Derick want Baby Dilly to be safe, and they’ll surely do a check with an expert to ensure the infant car seat is in their vehicle exactly right. When is the baby coming? Tuesday was Jill’s official due date, but she has said she fully expected to go past due.

Jill told People that she’s feeling great and knows that many first-time moms go a week or even more past their due date. Dillard recently shared what could be her last baby bump photo for this pregnancy, and fans know that the big news could arrive at any moment. She says Derick has been amazing, and it seems they’re ready to go.
