In his new book Suicide of a Superpower Pat Buchanan warns that the “end of white America” is near and that network mixed with MSBNC’s swing towards a liberal slant was enough this week for the network to fire Buchanan after a decade with the cable news network.

In a statement MSNBC President Phil Griffin said Buchanan’s views on race and immigration in American should not be part of the national dialog, let along “part of the dialog on MSNBC.”

As he prepared to leave the network on less then stellar terms Buchanan took a pot shot at the liberal media, stating that he was leaving “after an incessant clamor from the left that to permit me continued access to the microphones of MSNBC would be an outrage against decency, and dangerous.”

Buchanan then attacked the “though police” of the Anti-Defamation League, noting:

“I know these blacklisters. They operate behind closed doors, with phone calls, mailed threats, and off-the-record meetings. They work in the dark because, as Al Smith said, nothing un-American can live in the sunlight.”

Based on those comments I would feel comfortable predicting that Pat Buchanan would be the perfect fit for an anchor position at Fox News in the near future. In fact I wouldn’t be surprised if he landed a job at Fox News before the end of 2012.
