Tom Hanks Movies In 8 Minutes On ‘The Late Late Show With James Corden’

Tom Hanks acted out his best movies in an eight-minute skit during an appearance on The Late, Late Show with James Corden and the results were hilarious.

We all know that Hanks has a long list of movies to his credit and some really good ones too. He’s been nominated for Best Actor several times and some of his performances are considered classic of modern cinema.

Who can forget Forrest Gump, Apollo 13 or Saving Private Ryan? Tom Hanks has certainly played memorable roles that will live in moviegoers’ minds for a long time to come.

British actor James Corden was making his debut as the late night host on Monday night and had an enviable line-up of Hollywood heavy weights to help him out on his first time as host of The Late, Late Show. Tom Hanks, helped by Corden got together to do the eight minute skit and it was a hit.

Despite not being a household name, Cordon, a famous British comic, made a great impression and he is receiving rave reviews for his performance.

“Monday’s debut showed Corden has a well-tuned format that showcases his charm and talent. He’s just got to figure out what he wants to do with it,” Eric Deggans from NPR says.

“I have never experienced anything like it. He was gracious and happy to have everyone there and he was so thankful for the opportunity. He was personable, talking about his family and kids. He was really funny,” some members of the audience said of the little known British actor.

Despite help from Tom Hanks and his movies, James Corden confessed to being very nervous that the American audience would not get his humor or accent. They got it and enjoyed it, a lot.
