Selena Gomez Mentions Zedd’s ‘Beautiful Eyes,’ Wants A ‘Faithful’ Boyfriend
Selena Gomez finally opened up about her rumored boyfriend, Zedd. The former Disney star gushed about his looks, and mentioned what she’s looking for in a boyfriend.
Gomez sat down for an interview with Radio Disney about her new single “I Want You To Know,” which features the German DJ and producer. She had a lot of sweet things to say about Zedd. When Gomez was asked about him, she gave very little details, but it was enough for fans to tell that she’s smitten with him.
“He’s this cute little German, and he’s got really beautiful eyes, and he’s very sweet and funny.”
Selena pulled herself back when talking about her rumored boyfriend. She retracted her comments and spoke out Zedd’s artistry and creativity.
“I respect his vision, because he has a way of knowing how important his role is as an EDM artist. He doesn’t spend most of his time traveling the world DJing. He really spent so much time on this record.”
Although Gomez didn’t confirm that she’s dating Zedd, it’s obvious that she has a crush on him. The entertainer also revealed how they met. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Zedd and Gomez ran into each other when he used the restroom.
“He and I met when we were recording using the same building and he needed to use my bathroom. We ended up talking, sharing music and it happened organically. He’s great, and he cares so much about the meaning of his songs.”
Selena appears to be more certain of what kind of man she wants these days. The ex-girlfriend of Justin Bieber talked about guys with host Ali Simpson. During the interview, Selena revealed what kind of traits she’s looking for when she’s looking for the right guy.
“Honesty, of course trust, being faithful, making me laugh, those are all the dream right? It will happen. I don’t want to force anything. Just somebody you can enjoy living life with.”
“Zeddlena” or “Zelena” fans are hoping that Zedd fulfills those requirements for Gomez. The two have been rumored to be dating for a few months ever since they stepped into the recording studio together. Zedd is also producing a few other songs off Gomez’s new album.
Speaking of her new album, Selena also mentioned that she’s hard at work on it.
“I shot a movie [The Revised Fundamentals of Caregiving] in Atlanta, and I’m going to go back to shot another one [In Dubious Battle.] I’ve been huddled away in my little studio, and I’ve been writing and playing and I kind of have this really good groove going that I’m so excited about.”
Her new music is also expected to be “darker” than ever. Gomez spoke with Hollywood Life‘s sister site, Women’s Wear Daily, at the Louis Vuitton Fall 2015 Show in Paris on March 11.
“I haven’t released any music in two years. So it’s really going to be kind of showing my journey in the past two years, and there’s a little darkness in it.”
The celebrity gossip site noted that Selena’s single “I Want You To Know” is positive and upbeat. Her relationship with Zedd may have put her in a better mood since she’s been collaborating with him. The darker songs on Selena’s new album may hint about her toxic relationship with Justin.
