Another Reason to Question Lauren Conrad’s “Fame”

How exciting– now Lauren Conrad’s “talent” is coming into question. Perhaps she’s not a real designer after all, and we can just stop with the charades. Be still my beating heart!

According to TMZ, Lauren’s collections have been primarily conceptualized by former Tart designer Sherri Roozrak-Wood, and even though that has been denied by the “‘real'” Sherri, TMZ also claims that someone heard L.C. saying that “she wished she knew how to sketch.” Lauren responded to the rumors in US, but it still has me wondering:

“I’ve been involved in this entire process, every single step of the way. I have wanted to be a fashion designer since I was a little girl. I grew up designing and sewing dresses for my barbie dolls, and the Lauren Conrad Collection has been my dream come true.”

I’m sort of enjoying this. You know what this means if the rumors are true, though– Heidi Montag will surface as the better designer of the two. Gag! I’m not sure if I dislike Lauren enough to wish that upon her.
