Miranda Lambert, Chris Brown, Fight On Twitter Over Grammy Performance

There are plenty of people upset with Chris Brown. The singer, who was arrested three years ago for assaulting Rihanna, made his “triumphant” return to the Grammy Awards last weekend, but Country singer Miranda Lambert believes that we shouldn’t forget Brown’s past so easily.

Lambert went to Twitter to express her dismay with the situation. Lambert, who wrote “Gunpowder and Lead” about domestic abuse, wrote:

“Chris Brown twice? I don’t get it. He beat on a girl. Not cool that we act like that didn’t happen. He needs to listen to Gunpowder and lead and be put back in his place. Not at the Grammys.”

The tweet, and several others directed at Brown, caused the singer to go on a Twitter tirade. Brown ended his rant with:

“HATE ALL U WANT BECUZ I GOT A GRAMMY Now! That’s the ultimate F*** OFF!”

After Brown’s manager, or PR person, or his conscience, convinced him that he was being an idiot, Brown erased the tweet and wrote:

“IM BACK SO WATCH MY BaCK as I walk away from all this negativity #teambreezygrammy.”

But Miranda Lambert wasn’t about to let their Twitter fight die. The country singer later wrote:

“Be who you are an stand for what u believe in. NO MATTER WHAT!… Oh and one more thing for all who are asking….I have a Grammy too.”

Lambert and Brown’s twitter fight comes a few days after several Twitter uses sent disgusting messages about how they would gladly take a beating from Chris Brown if he would give them a kiss.

What’s your take on Chris Brown? Should he forever be shunned for his arrest? Is it time we forget that he assaulted Rihanna?
