Robert Herjavec And Kym Johnson Use Their Chemistry On ‘Dancing With The Stars’
Robert Herjavec and Kym Johnson made news after their Dancing With the Stars debut — less for their dance performance than rumors the pair are dating in real life. Herjavec, who recently announced his split from wife of 25 years, Diane, told media before season 20 of the ballroom competition began that the show is a kind of therapy for this difficult time.
Leading up to week 2 in the competition, Herjavec is teasing some of the theatrics that he and Johnson will use to try and get a leg up against the other contestants. Last week, Rumer Willis topped the leader board, making herself an early frontrunner in the competition. On his Twitter account, Herjavec posted an appealing picture of what their performance will look like Monday night.

The star of Shark Tank also sought to pique the interest of the show’s viewers by teasing that his fellow investors will be in the audience to cheer him on.

On those dating rumors, TMZ posted a video of Herjavec and Johnson leaving an eating establishment Saturday. The couple said they were merely friends; but the celebrity website noted they shared what seemed to be a less-than-platonic kiss.
Before the season started, Herjavec revealed to ABC that the pressure of Dancing With the Stars has given him more sympathy for the contestants who came before him and the other Shark Tank panelists.
“I’ll have a greater appreciation for how people feel when they come out in front of us. I was probably the most empathetic one to begin with, but I’m gonna be in front of many, many millions of people, live, being judged by someone else and that’s a unique feeling for me. I understand how people feel and how much work goes into going out there.”
He also said he can notice the difference the dancing workouts have made in his physique.
“I’m at the gym the other day and I’m looking at the mirror and I see myself and I’m like ‘Wow, what a great butt…. Oh! That’s me!’ It’s amazing. I didn’t know that people had this many muscles, and every one of them is sore.”
The celebrity-studded season of Dancing With the Stars also features former Bachelor Chris Soules, Willis, Suzanne Somers, Patti LaBelle and Noah Galloway. The show airs Monday nights on ABC.
