Adele Won’t Take Five Years Off, Will Jump Into Studio Right Away

British songstress Adele revealed in the recent issue of Vogue that she was planning to take a few years off before recording new music, the singer revealed she wouldn’t record anything new for “four or five years” but now those plans have turned into “four or five days” as the singer will head to the Brit Awards then begin recording immediately following that appearance.

Writing on her blog on Wednesday Adele revealed:

“I’ve a few days off now, and then it’s the Brit Awards here at home and then I’m straight into the studio,” and “BOYYAHH! 5 years? More like 5 days!”

After winning six Grammy’s we can’t blame the singer for wanting to capitalize on her success while giving her fans and critics what they so obviously want.

Recalling her big night at the Grammy’s the world’s current No. 1 singer wrote:

“I am so overwhelmed, it’s the strangest feeling. I have constant butterflies and goosebumps, it’s wearing me out but I LOVE it!” and “I’ve been sleeping a lot but the minute I wake up I burst out laughing and it starts all over again.”

Are you glad to hear that Adele is heading directly into the studio for work on her following up her sophomore album 21?
