Suki Waterhouse Still Living A Dream Life, Lands Lead Role In ‘The Bad Batch’ After Split From Cooper

Suki Waterhouse sure knows how to bounce back from a breakup. The model/actress is making her career her focus after the split from Bradley Cooper following a two-year relationship.

The 23-year-old is living a life made for the movies, seeing as she has gained supermodel status and coincidentally now has broken into the film world by snatching the lead role in the upcoming movie The Bad Batch, which will also star notable actors Jim Carrey and Keanu Reeves.

In the film, Suki will play “Arlen, Jason Momoa will play Miami Man, Diego Luna will play Jimmy, Keanu Reeves will play the Dream and Jim Carrey will play the Hermit,” as the Daily Mail notes based on the recent announcement.

Waterhouse is also not hiding out or wallowing after the end of her high-profile relationship with her American Sniper boyfriend. The beauty dazzled all at the premiere for Insurgent — yet another film she is in.

As the Daily Mail relays, “Suki made sure all eyes were on her in [her] blush coloured ethereal gown” by Reem Acra. The gown looked like one intended for a princess or a queen perhaps. Suki wore it well and was glowing sans Bradley Cooper.

But what is the story behind the breakup? After a two-year relationship, why did it fizzle? A source spoke to E! Online and indicated that news that all fans of the duo are eager to know.

“They remain friends but they both want different things right now. Cooper wanted to start a family but Suki isn’t ready. She loves Bradley and he loves her but she’s so young and wants to concentrate on her acting career before becoming a mom.”

Suki appears to be making the strides she intended to in regards to her career, without looking back. Who says a fairy tale life needs a prince charming so early on? The lovely Brit began dating Cooper at the tender age of 21, after all, and she has her whole promising life ahead of her.

Cooper and Waterhouse met and began their love-bird status back in 2013, making their debut as a couple nine months later when Waterhouse accompanied Cooper to the premiere of American Hustle. However, the couple were very secretive about their relationship, and at one point, as the Inquisitr recently reported, Waterhouse confided in Elle UK that she didn’t like to talk about her boyfriend because it was a boring topic of conversation, after which she giggled and added that she would likely be unable to stop talking about Cooper if she started.

The couple clearly had a strong bond, yet the choice to part ways seems the best when goals and intentions do not line up.
