Lil Wayne Book: Rapper Not Pleased That Drake Got It On With His Lady While He Was In Prison

Lil Wayne is shopping a new book about his life that involves fellow rapper Drake, and while it’s always hard to predict what will pique the interest of different book publishers, Drake getting it on with Lil Wayne’s girlfriend while Wayne was in prison is reportedly making for a pretty strong selling point.

Lil Wayne was so displeased about the alleged sexual-cheating escapade — the claim actually made to Lil Wayne, face to face, by Drake — that Wayne considered going physically ballistic on Drake at the time, reports TMZ.

And how did TMZ get ahold of this salacious information? By reportedly getting their hands on a piece of Lil Wayne’s book proposal and thumbing through the pages.

Lil Wayne was doing time for gun possession at Rikers Island jail in New York City when the 28-year-old Drake dropped by and let the cat out of the bag, telling Lil Wayne about his sexual relations with Wayne’s supposed girlfriend, reports the Hamilton Spectator. Probably not uplifting news during what turned out to be an eight month stint in the joint for Wayne, from March to November, 2010.

In the bit of the book proposal that TMZ got their hands on, Drake didn’t pull any punches when he let Lil Wayne in on the news that he’d had his way with Wayne’s girlfriend either, simply arriving to visit and telling Lil Wayne, “Yeah, it’s true. Don’t f*** with her like that cause I did f*** her.”

The “Don’t f*** with her like that” part is left up for speculation, but in the proposal, Lil Wayne does mention that he and his girlfriend argued quite frequently and it’s believed that perhaps this is what Drake was alluding to.

But it’s not just the fact that Drake swooped Lil Wayne’s lady that makes Wayne’s pending book sound like it will be an interesting read, but also Lil Wayne’s wearing his heart on his sleeve, instead of rapping, singing the blues, and telling the story of the despair Drake heaped upon his already pretty sour situation behind bars. Lil Wayne also alludes to potential violence he may have unleashed on Drake had he not been behind bars.

“This is the type of s*** that a man never wants to find out when he’s locked up. Or, maybe so, cause only God knows what I would have done if I wasn’t locked up right now… I woke up feeling f***** up about the f***** up day that I had… finding out that she f***** Drake was the absolute worst thing I could’ve ever found out.”

Wayne also admits that Drake’s unfortunate news left him so upset that he just holed up in his cell for the days, but also noted that it wasn’t just that it was Drake, but that he would’ve felt just as bad no matter who it was.

But what did the woman at the center of this tough situation between Lil Wayne and Drake have to say?

Well, she reportedly says that she and Drake got together the day before she even met Lil Wayne, which would kind of make this Lil Wayne vs. Drake brouhaha moot.

But hopefully, the potential Lil Wayne book publishers will skip that part.
