Vicki Gunvalson Struggles As Cancer Treatment For Brooks Ayers Not Working

The Real Housewives of Orange County star Vicki Gunvalson was shocked to learn that Brooks Ayers was battling cancer. The news came after Vicki wrapped up the previous season of the show, where Ayers and Gunvalson broke up. It was simply too much drama for them to stay together. But the cancer diagnosis brought them closer together.

Vicki Gunvalson has been taking care of Brooks and doing everything possible to make his life great. Vicki is doing this, even though her own daughter doesn’t support the relationship. Gunvalson’s relationship with Brooks has also caused trouble with her co-stars, including Tamra Barney and Heather Dubrow.

According to a new Radar Online report, The Real Housewives of Orange County star Vicki Gunvalson has now learned that Brooks’ cancer treatment isn’t working, even though Gunvalson has done everything in her power to make the cancer treatment better for him. It is no secret that Vicki has moved him into her house, so she could help him through this tough time. Sadly, he isn’t seeing the changes he wants.

“When the test results came back, the numbers haven’t changed substantially,” Brooks Ayers has revealed, adding, “They haven’t gotten worse, but they haven’t gotten better. That was kind of disheartening, to be honest with you. ‘m not so sure my body is responding to chemotherapy. At least the cocktail that I was doing. I’m not sure it responded like it needed to.”

Ayers says that battling the cancer is all about his mindset. One can imagine that Vicki Gunvalson is giving him all of the support possible to get him through this tough time. In addition, Gunvalson’s friend and co-star Shannon Beador is helping him with some holistic options.

“Shannon Beador’s been very much in our corner and putting us in contact with a lot of unbelievable world-renowned holistic physicians based here in Irvine (California),” Ayers has said, adding, “We’re exploring that and with that would come no chemo. It would be addressing and taking what I’ve been doing with the holistic diet and an infrared sauna.”

As for Vicki Gunvalson, she may be trying to help out as much as possible. Vicki has been selling her clothes and making money online. In addition, Gunvalson has been struggling with her own pain, as she recently lost her own mother, according to the Inquisitr.
