‘Bachelorette’ Star Andi Dorfman Now Making Money Via Paid Instagram Posts?
Bachelorette star Andi Dorfman decided that her engagement to Josh Murray was not what she wanted and she ended the relationship just hours after appearing on the red carpet together for the premiere of The Bachelor. Andi couldn’t explain immediately what it was about Josh that didn’t work for her, but when she sat down with Chris Harrison weeks later, Dorfman admitted that they were both strong personalities and clashed.
During her relationship with Murray, Andi Dorfman quit her job as the assistant to the district attorney and she decided to try something new. Dorfman began creating t-shirts and partnering up with various companies to make money. Unfortunately, that didn’t exactly work out as she may have hoped.
According to a new Instagram post, Bachelorette star Andi Dorfman is now posting things on Instagram and Twitter that are coming across as sponsored posts. In other words, Dorfman is using her large following to make money while living in New York City. An example of this came up this morning, as she was caught promoting a new VH1 show, Barely Famous, with the #sp (sponsored post) hash-tag.
“OMG! Most embarrassing moment ever… Walking around NYC and two young boys are following me and laughing, I turn around thinking maybe they watched the show… Umm nope, I had toilet paper on my shoe. This has got to be a story line on #BarelyFamous! New obsession on VH1 Who’s watching the show with me tonight? #sp,” Andi Dorfman revealed on Instagram, while sharing a picture of herself walking the streets of New York.
Many are wondering what Andi Dorfman is doing in New York to find work. Clearly, she has the resume of a professional, and she has a ton of experience. But maybe the fame bug has bitten her and she wants to try and do something else. Dorfman doesn’t seem to be in a rush to find work, and if she is getting money from doing sponsored ads on Instagram, maybe Andi isn’t struggling.
But Andi should be careful about what she starts offering, as she has already experienced a backlash over her t-shirts. According to the Inquisitr, Andi Dorfman was accused of being a sell-out when she started selling t-shirts after being in the spotlight post-Bachelorette proposal. Surely, this is a label that Dorfman doesn’t want.
