There have been several tributes to Whitney Houston since the singer’s sudden death last weekend. Jennifer Hudson gave a stirring rendition of “I Will Always Love You” at the Grammy Awards, Cissy Houston, Aretha Franklin, Dolly Parton, and several other celebrities have released written statements about the singer’s death, and now a Dubai fountain’s graceful synchronized water show is gathering attention on the internet.

One Twitter user wrote:

“Lump in throat again @Dubai Fountains – I Will Always Love You Tribute to Whitney Houston.”

Whitney Houston was found in a hotel bathroom on Saturday night. The cause of her death has not been announced yet.

Some speculate that Houston overdosed on a combination of prescription pills and alcohol while others believe that she simply drowned in the tub. The coroner’s office said that they wouldn’t release any details until it was certain about the cause of death.

Regardless of what ended Whitney’s life, her music will always live on.

Here’s “I Will Always Love You” accompanied by a water show from the Dubai fountains.

The International Business Times reports that Houston’s death comes nearly 8-years after she played her last show in Dubai. In 2004, Houston stopped at the Nad El Sheba Club during the “Nothing but Love World Tour.”

What did you think of the Dubai fountains?
