Karrueche Tran, Iyanla Vanzant OWN Interview Video Snippet Released [Video]

We’ve heard about Karrueche Tran giving an interview to Iyanla Vanzant for a special OWN sit down, and now we can see the questions that reportedly made Tran so upset, her people allegedly kicked Vanzant out of her house — only to have Iyanla and crew return when things calmed down, as reported by TMZ. The publication claimed that Karrueche kicked Oprah’s people — namely Vanzant and her crew — out because Iyanla didn’t deliver the soft and positive interview promised, but allegedly asked if Tran had sex with Chris Brown because he was famous.

According to E! News, however, Karrueche’s people didn’t mention kicking out Vanzant and her people during the heated interview, although it wouldn’t be a stretch to see it happening. Those who watch Iyanla’s interviewing style know that she can be loving, favor calling people “beloved” throughout their talks, but also in-your-face direct and smiling and happy all at the same time. Previous interviews from her OWN shows have seen Vanzant’s interview subjects get so upset they’ve asked Iyanla to leave, or they’ve walked out of their own homes.

And now that the above preview video of Karrueche talking with Vanzant has been released, viewers can finally see a human side of Tran — not to mention learn how to finally pronouce that Karrueche name that’s often seen in print but not as often heard on TV interview promos. Tran can be seen crying in the interview whilst Vanzant lobs probing questions and statements about her relationship with Chris.

“He betrayed you. He lied to you. He did it all publicly.”

“How did you find out that he had a baby by another woman?”

“Have you spoken to him?”

“What I want people to know about Chris Brown is…”

“Here comes a hard question.”

After witnessing such a thought-provoking, Oprah-worthy interview, it’s no wonder rumors swirled about Karrueche getting upset enough to pause the talk with Iyanla, at least for a period of time. As reported by the Inquisitr, Brown recently received criticisms regarding what he published on Instagram to his ex-girlfriend Karrueche, advising her to remain a lady and to not let her anger turn her into a “THOT,” a slang acronym for “that h** over there.”

Tran’s close friend Christina Milian also talks with Iyanla about Karrueche’s romance with Brown in the so-dubbed Iyanla Exclusive: Karrueche Tran, set to premiere on March 28 at 8 p.m. ET/ 7 p.m. CT on OWN.
