Jennifer Garner Cries Over Her Family On ‘Today’ Show [Video]

Actress Jennifer Garner got a little emotional when she stopped by the Today show to talk about her new film, Danny Collins.

In the film, she co-stars alongside Al Pacino as the wife of his son (played by Bobby Cannavale). That said, during her segment on the Today show, things turned a emotional when the actress started talking about her own family.

Garner, who hails from West Virginia, spoke about her new spread with her two sisters and mother for the magazine Southern Living. When they showed the photo of all the Garner girls dolled up for the feature, she couldn’t contain herself and choked up.

“It makes me cry to see their faces so I won’t look. Yes there’s nothing like sharing the spotlight or anything else with your sisters, and your mom.”

Wiping her tears away, she continued to speak although her voice was filled with emotion. “It’s just always fun for me to get my sisters dolled up, and my mom. I’m sorry. My mom is under the weather… I knew I would, I just didn’t realize I would get so emotional.”

Fortunately for Jennifer, it was a little lighter when she made an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. The two drank green beer in honor of St. Patrick’s Day as Fallon asked the mother of three for baby advice, now that he has two small ones at home. While she didn’t give Fallon advice, she did warn him that the kids might compete for his attention.

The mother of Violet, Seraphina, and Sam came off simply charming in the interview, and told a story about how one of her girls wanted to stay the baby forever. The actress claimed her daughter out-smarted she and husband Ben Affleck to get her way.

“They’re all gonna go nuts when there’s a new baby, right? One way or another, if it isn’t now, it’s going to be later. It’s coming.”

She continued, “We had one who wanted to still be the baby, but she never wanted to say, ‘I want to still be the baby. She wanted to be carried everywhere. What she was telling us was that she was a mermaid. She had a tail and she had flippers and she needed to be carried everywhere, and we bought it. Suddenly I’m lugging this huge kid around and I saw her smiling to herself, smirking.”
