MTV Crew 911 Call: Jenelle Evans Lied To Fans About Calling Police To Report Fiance’s Alleged Assault

An MTV crew member called police after Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans’ alleged domestic dispute with her fiancé, Nathan Griffith. However, the MTV crew member wasn’t the only person that called for help.

According to a March 17 Radar Online report, Evans called police just moments before the MTV crew member did the same. Her call to police was as follows.

“My ex fiancé he’s sitting here, he took the car keys from me denying me to go to school tomorrow. Both of our names are on the car. He doesn’t even have his license and I can’t take my son to school tomorrow.”

After telling her side of the story, Evans was informed that an officer was already on the way to her and Griffith’s South Carolina home.

In the previous phone conversation, the MTV crew member reported a “domestic abuse” incident that was currently happening, and screams were heard in the background. The MTV crew member also confirmed Griffith was “physically abusing” Evans.

“Send the police, there’s a domestic abuse happening. We are filming with a talent and the couple is fighting. Please send the police right away. … The fiancé is physically abusing his girlfriend. We were locked out of the house and we heard her screaming ‘Get off of me, get off of me.'”

Once police arrived to the home, Griffith was arrested. The following day, he was released on $100 bail and given an April court date. Until then, a judge ordered him to refrain from contacting Evans for at least 30 days.

News of the MTV crew members phone call, as well as Evans, proves that the Teen Mom 2 star lied to fans after the March 4 incident. In a tweet to Katie Yeager, Evans claimed she “never” called police.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Griffith’s no contact order was expected to be lifted earlier this week, following a request by Evans. While Evans told police in the report that her fiancé had been violent with her, pinning her to a toilet and ripping off her engagement ring, she has since allegedly changed her story, and may be planning to take Griffith back. In fact, a source claimed to Radar Online recently that the whole incident between the couple was “blown out of proportion.”
