Jim Bob Duggar Kissing Advice: ’19 Kids & Counting’ Patriarch Shows Jessa And Ben How To Do It

Jim Bob Duggar, the patriarch of the 19 Kids & Counting clan, gave the last (and most awkward) marriage counseling lesson to Jessa and Ben – how to kiss the right way.

Jim Bob, joined by his wife, Michelle Duggar, demonstrated the technique on how to kiss properly so your noses don’t bump into each other.

“Let me show y’all the best way to kiss here. If you kiss straight on, your noses hit together. See? And so, you have to turn. She turns one way, I turn the other,” said Jim Bob Duggar on the latest 19 Kids and Counting episode.

“Decide ahead of time, ‘You’re gonna go that way, he’ll go this way,’ whichever side so you don’t get confused,” Michelle Duggar opined.

“Y’all are so cute,” Jessa Duggar commented, as they all chuckled uncomfortably.

If you cringe at the thought of your parents giving you kissing advice, then you need to know — in case you have missed the show — that this particular couple takes parenting to the extreme. Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar do not allow their kids to kiss or hug before getting married. At the most the engaged couples are allowed to side hug.

As all other siblings who have already walked down the isle, Jessa and her fiance, Ben, had to withstand the embarrassment of being taught how to kiss by Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar. On national television.

While the thought of having the talk with your daughter before she gets married is something millions of parents do all over the world, getting kissing advice is not as common. But the clan leaders are not your normal parents either and stay true to their strict Christian principles.

19 Kids & Counting is extremely popular despite the sometimes questionable rules imposed by Jim Bob and Michelle. One of these rules stipulate that the kids are not allowed to kiss until they are married, which in today’s world is almost unheard of.

Unlike her sister, Jill, who got married to Derick Dillard on June 21 of last year, Jessa and Ben will not be kissing at their wedding ceremony and will keep their very fist kiss to themselves, but we may see one or more smooches during the airing of the special episode of the reality TV show.

It is very possible that despite Jim Bob Duggar’s kissing advice, Jessa and her beau had no problem figuring out the correct way to do it on their own. Jessa and Ben’s November 1 wedding will air in a couple of weeks on 19 Kids & Counting.
