Prescription Drugs Found In Whitney Houston’s Hotel Room, Cause Of Death May Be Drowning
While investigators have found no evidence of illegal drugs in the Beverly Hills hotel room where Whitney Houston died on Saturday night it’s believed that prescription drugs were located and that the singer may have drowned in her bathtub.
Sources told TMZ on Sunday that when EMT’s arrived Houston’s body had already been removed from the bathtub so they will have to wait and see if she died from a drug overdose or from a bathtub drowning or other cause.
According to reports police found various prescription drug bottles scattered around the room, however no illegal drug use was discovered and there didn’t appear to be any alcohol consumption on Whitney’s part.
Whitney’s body was taken from the room on a gurney and will now go to the morgue for an autopsy to determine the singers cause of death.
Whitney Houston was just 48-years-old but looked far beyond her years after two decades of drug abuse ravaged her body, including her once trademarked voice which sounded like a former shell of itself during recently critically bashed concerts.
Whitney is survived by her 19-year-old daughter Bobbi Kristina.

Whitney looked far beyond her years? So do many people without make up on.. Although with make up, shes probably the youngest lookin 48 year old I have seen. What a stupid thing to say!

But she didn't look as good as she would have looked had she not spent 20 yrs abusing drugs….with or without makeup. We all know with the money that woman once had she could have bought/created her own fountain of youth if it were not for her drug abuse. And the most beautiful thing that she lost was that VOICE. She was the only singer that could make me cry when she performed. THE ONLY ONE!

You don't have to be evil or of lesser intelligence to become addicted to prescription drugs. Take a narcotic pain reliever, prescribed for you by your doctor, for long enough, for a legitimate reason and you may become addicted. The pain may no longer exist but the need for the narcotics remains. If you are a person of means, the doctors may change but the prescriptions continue. Don't rush to judgement on Whitney Houston's death, if indeed she died as a result of an addiction it does not mean she was not a good person doing good things for the people around her. A good mother, a good friend, a good wife. It just means she could not stop taking a drug that eventually took her. I only wish I would have understood this two years ago, someone very dear to me might still be alive today.
