‘Real Housewives’ Lisa Vanderpump Reacts To Stassi Schroeder’s Explicit Film
Real Housewives star Lisa Vanderpump claims she did what she could to keep Stassi Schroeder’s racy film under wraps.
On March 16, as the reunion show aired, the Real Housewives star took to Twitter, where she weighed in on the film, as well as the cast’s reaction to the tape.
“All the cast were so loyal, it was never mentioned publicly, never leaked to the press, I did my utmost. She brought it up at reunion.”
During last night’s Vanderpump Rules reunion, the Real Housewives star, along with the rest of the cast, was confronted with allegations of having attempted to go public with Schroeder’s film. However, it wasn’t the cast who went public with the news, but Schroeder herself.
As Vanderpump explained in her tweet, Schroeder was the one who brought up the issue at the reunion, thus exposing her tape for the very first time.
While the Real Housewives star and most of the Vanderpump Rules cast are currently on the outs with Schroeder, and have been for some time, not one of them ever exposed the news publicly.
As the Inquisitr previously reported, the Real Housewives star not only kept her former employee’s tape a secret, she actually paid off the man Schroeder allegedly sent the 20-minute film to.
According to Rumorfix, Vanderpump, who stars on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, paid a substantial amount of money to the unnamed man in order to keep the film from surfacing. She also reportedly begged an unnamed gossip site not to post on the story.
At the time of filming on Vanderpump Rules Season 3, Schroeder’s relationship with the Real Housewives star was strained, and she spoke openly about her issues with Vanderpump — despite her having reportedly saved her from scandal.
In an interview with Perez Hilton in December, Schroeder confirmed she and the Real Housewives star were on the outs.
“I still love SUR. I love going into SUR. I still have so many friends there that just aren’t on the show. I grew up there a little bit. [Lisa], like, doesn’t like me. I don’t understand what her problem is. [She’s] like an old woman, why does [she] care what I’m doing?”
In response to Schroeder’s comments, a source told Hilton, “Lisa feels that Stassi has no loyalty what so ever. She’s provided all these wonderful opportunities for her and doesn’t get a thank you. The entire cast dreads filming with her and on many occasions have refused to film with her.”
