Duchess Kate New Housekeeper: Kate Middleton, Prince William Looking To Hire Help Before Baby No. 2

Duchess Kate is hiring a new housekeeper. According to Hello Magazine, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are looking to hire another staff member for their residence in Anmer Hall. The royal couple has placed an ad, in hopes of finding someone to help with various things around the home, as juggling these things with two children is going to be a new challenge.

“Housekeeper sought for a large family home in Norfolk. We are looking for someone with previous housekeeping experience, ideally within a large private house, and preferably within a family environment with dogs. Main duties will include: cleaning all areas of the house to a high standard; caring for and maintaining the home owners’ clothing; cleaning silverware and glassware; purchasing groceries and general provisions for the house; and dealing with deliveries,” reads the first part of the advertisement.

Duchess Kate’s new housekeeper will be able to live on the premises, if he or she so chooses. The accommodations are private, and are large enough for two people — meaning a couple could move in. According to The Today Show, Kate Middleton mentioned that she was looking for a housekeeper when she visited the set of Downton Abbey last week.

“On occasions, the role will also involve the preparation of meals, assisting with childcare and caring for dogs. Discretion and loyalty is paramount and a current valid UK driving license is essential. Self-contained [accommodations] will be provided (suitable for a couple). The partner may be offered ad hoc maintenance work, although there is no guaranteed work provided for them,” the ad concludes.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, it sounds like the Duke and Duchess want to hire someone before they welcome their baby next month. At eight months pregnant, Kate likely needs an extra set of hands to help with the final preparations before baby, but after the baby comes, she is going to need even more help. She and William have had great luck finding people to work for them, and have built relationships with their staff over the years (like Prince George’s baby nanny, Maria Borallo.)

Everyone seems to be anxious to hear all about the new royal baby, and to find out if it’s a boy or a girl. Details of the new baby will be made available by the palace not long after Kate gives birth, sometime in April.
