‘Southern Charm’ Season Two: Cameran Eubanks Talks New Season, Husband Jason

Southern Charm‘s Cameran Eubanks dished on her return to the series for its second season in a new interview with Glamour Magazine.

“I’m a recycled reality star! It’s kind of pathetic,” Eubanks joked on March 16.

As fans of Eubanks will recall, Southern Charm isn’t her first reality show. Years ago, the South Carolina native took part in the San Diego-based installment of MTV’s The Real World. Although Eubanks’ time on the show appeared to be pretty civil in comparison to other cast members, she wasn’t exactly on board with the idea of a reality TV return when presented with the idea a while later.

“Whitney was a friend of mine, and he approached me about doing it. At first I said heck no, you couldn’t pay me to do it again. But once he explained the concept, I was more open. I liked that it was centered in Charleston.”

While the Southern Charm star, whose witty narration of the show has been a draw for viewers, said goodbye to The Real World years ago, she claimed to have remained in touch with her former flame, Brad, who eventually married another one of his co-stars.

“I keep in touch with Brad—I went to his wedding. He has two kids now!”

As for her husband, Jason Wimberly, he passed up the opportunity to be seen on Southern Charm.

“When I agreed to do the show, I said I did not want my love life on national TV. I was in a serious relationship when we started, and then I got married. I kept that separate from the show. My husband is the one who pushed me to do the show—he’s very supportive—but reality TV is not for everyone.”

As the Inquisitr reported earlier, Wimberly hasn’t officially announced he wouldn’t be appearing on Southern Charm, but judging by reports, there isn’t much of a chance fans will be seeing him on Season 2. That isn’t to say, however, that Wimberly’s name won’t come up on the show.

According to a description of Southern Charm‘s second season, via LALATE, Eubanks has a “new husband and new career.”

During Season 1 of Southern Charm, Eubanks didn’t mention her husband at all. In fact, no one even knew Eubanks was dating until she mentioned her then-fiance during a 2014 appearance on Andy Cohen’s Watch What Happens Live.

Southern Charm premieres tonight at 10 p.m. on Bravo.
