MTV Star Maci Bookout Was Not Happy About Farrah Abraham’s Return

MTV star Maci Bookout is returning to the network next week for Teen Mom OG, but while sharing more of her story is exciting, Bookout also had a few reservations.

“Being back on the show feels good,” the MTV star revealed to Us Weekly on March 16. “It is new.”

Among the new aspects of the MTV star’s life is her current pregnancy.

“My boyfriend Taylor moves to Tennessee. Shortly after, we find out I am pregnant,” Bookout told the magazine.

Bookout began dating Taylor McKinney years ago, several months after splitting from Kyle King, whom fans met on a previous season of Teen Mom. However, fans have yet to meet McKinney on the show.

As for her reservations, the MTV star claimed she wasn’t happy when she found out Farrah Abraham would also be returning to the show. When negotiations for the upcoming fifth season of Teen Mom began, Bookout, along with the other two girls, Catelynn Lowell and Amber Portwood, were told Abraham was not going to be back. Then, once they signed on and began filming for OG, they were notified by producers that there had been a change in the cast, and that Abraham would be returning after all.

“I’m not going to lie and say I was happy about it, but, I mean, it’s something that I guess people will just have to watch on the show. And it has nothing to personally do with Farrah at all. I have no hard feelings towards her whatsoever. It’s just a lot of different elements that play into why I felt the way I do.”

As the Inquisitr previously reported, the MTV star recently admitted she was “still frustrated” by Abraham’s last minute return to the series. According to a Wetpaint Entertainment interview, Bookout did not want her son, 6-year-old Bentley, to be associated with Abraham’s career in the adult entertainment industry.

“I’m still frustrated by it and it doesn’t have anything to do with Farrah personally. I don’t have any hard feelings towards her, I don’t judge her or anything like that.”

Although Bookout insisted she was not personally affected by Abraham’s decision to release a sex tape, a line of sex toys and a series of erotic novels, she claimed she didn’t want her son to be faced with the issue at such a young age.
