WWE News: Wrestling Legend Sting To Appear Live On ‘Monday Night Raw’ Tonight?

Last week on Monday Night Raw, WWE took a slight break from the Sting/Triple H. feud and aired an eerie promo instead. Inside the promo, they altered Sting’s voice to sound different. There wasn’t a true answer as to why the WWE did that, but it still helped sell the WrestleMania angle without either wrestler being at the show. Few sources are reporting that Dolph Ziggler’s voice was used in the video.

That was last week and the WWE has two more episodes of Monday Night Raw to sell WrestleMania to the WWE Universe. Tonight’s program will have to beef up the angles of each WrestleMania match, especially Sting vs. Triple H. For that to happen, one of them will have to be there. According to PW Insider, there’s a good chance both men will be there tonight.

“Sting will be appearing live on RAW tonight to continue the build to his WrestleMania 31 match against Triple H.”

Inside the report, a photo was taken of Sting at the airport in Des Moines, Iowa. That’s the location for tonight’s WWE Raw broadcast. However, you cannot have two stars on the same show. There are circulating reports that Brock Lesnar will not be on Raw tonight. Lesnar did show up for last week’s episode in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where Paul Heyman cut one of the promos in recent history.

Despite the history-making match between Sting and Triple H, there’s internal worry from “the Game” about the bout in less than three weeks. The COO sat down with Bleacher Report to talk about WrestleMania, among a slew of other subjects.

“Listen, it’s a lot of pressure. I haven’t wrestled since last year. Sting hasn’t wrestled in God knows how long. We were talking about how I’m getting up there—he’s 10 years older than me.”

“I don’t know what I’ve got. I don’t know that he knows what he’s got. So, we’re going to see.”

For those who don’t know a lot about Triple H., he is one of the hardest workers in WWE history. Not only is his commitment to working out and training fierce, but also the multi-time WWE champion never left for World Championship Wrestling. Triple H. stayed with the company and it clearly paid off.

WWE’s build to Sting’s first match can only be discussed as a huge success. They are barely using him on WWE programming, which will make his first appearance inside the squared circle much more special. Sting vs. Triple H. is set to be one of the main events of WrestleMania 31 and it has all the makings of a heavyweight fight.
