Full Devil Jacket Debuts New Music Video From ‘Valley Of Bones’

Hardcore rockers Full Devil Jacket debuted their new music video this week, “Valley of Bones,” on Loudwire.“Valley of Bones” is the first single from their forthcoming album of the same name. Vocalist Josh Brown described the process for making their latest music video in a press release announcing the video, and he says he got involved in the visual aspects of the creative process for this video.

“We cut all the footage for ‘Valley of Bones’ in one day in a little town on the outskirts of our hometown of Jackson, Tennessee. The video director, Rob Nielson at Wired Films, did a great job of putting the images together. He combined my artwork with live footage. He did a fantastic job.”

The last time Full Devil Jacket released a new, full length album was was more than 15 years ago, and Valley of Bones hits the masses March 31. While the band says fans will recognize their sound on this album, they did make sure to update their signature sound, and claim Valley of Bones is like Full Devil Jacket “on steroids.” They also liken their upcoming release to Alice in Chains and Stone Sour.

Brown said it’s important in his creative process with Full Devil Jacket that the end result be authentic and have some personal meaning.

“When we write music, we only write it if it’s real. I only sing it if I believe in it. I’II only write it if I’ve experienced it. When I listen to some rock n’ roll music today, I hear the same important sounding words as the bands I grew up listening to, but I don’t hear any conviction. Everything I write about, I’ve lived.

If I can share with people my struggle and my mistakes and tell them there is hope even when we stumble, we rise again. That’s what it’s all about.”

Valley of Bones was produced by Justin Rimer (12 Stones) and Full Devil Jacket is currently on tour supporting the album. The album has 10 tracks, listed below.
