Heather Mills Slams Paul McCartney For Not Being Relevant

During an appearance on Ireland’s The Late Late Show, it became apparently clear that she had nothing positive to say about the Beatles singer — especially when it came to his relevance in the public eye today.
“When I go down the street, I get kids coming up to me – half of them don’t even know who [Paul McCartney] is.”
Mills further claimed that Paul McCartney’s attempt to regain his allegedly lost relevance is the reason why he is currently doing songs with two of the most commercially successful artists in their respective genres today.
“That’s why he’s got to do songs with Rihanna and Kanye West, so people remember.”
In her own words, Heather claimed that people seem to recognize her in public for her former career as an alpine skier or the success of her vegan company (VBites Foods) instead of being the ex-wife of Paul McCartney.
“When I go down the street, it’s ‘Oh my god, you’re a ski-racer’ or ‘You help the animals.’ [Paul] is just someone I fell in love with who to me was a normal guy that happened to write a few cool songs in the ’60s and a few in the ’70s.”
As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Paul McCartney made headlines in December, 2014, when he was featured on the hit Kanye West song, “Only One.”

In the following month, Paul McCartney made headlines yet again when he was featured on the Rihanna single, “FourFiveSeconds,” which also featured an appearance from rapper Kanye West.

According to the current Billboard Hot 100 chart, “FourFiveSeconds” is currently ranked No. 5.

The news about Paul and Heather officially dating was first confirmed back in 2000. The couple later got married in June, 2002. Heather gave birth to their daughter, Beatrice Mills McCartney, in October, 2003.
However, Paul McCartney and Heather Mills later separated in 2006 before eventually finalizing their divorce in 2008.
