Prince Harry: Is The Royal Lothario’s Latest Flame His Old Flame Chelsy Davy?

Prince Harry and old flame Chelsy Davy enjoyed an on-off relationship for seven years between 2004 and 2011. The couple split amid rumors that Chelsy did not want to spend her life in the goldfish bowl that comes with being linked with the prince. Chelsy recently split with boyfriend Charles Goode, and she has remained friendly with Prince Harry.

According to the Belfast Telegraph, many think that a reconciliation between Prince Harry and the 29-year-old Zimbabwean-born beauty may be in the cards. The Irish Independent claims that a royal insider told Grazia Magazine that Prince Harry and Chelsy are in daily contact since both have become single again.

“Harry and Chelsy are talking nearly every day, they have always had amazing chemistry, so it’s no wonder they’ve been drawn back together.

“They have mutual friends so they’re always at the same events, but there was something about the meeting before Christmas. Since then, it’s been very flirty. Everyone in their circle jokes that Chelsy is Harry’s Camilla because, like Camilla for his father, Chelsy is the one woman Harry could never get over.”

Prince Harry split with actress Cressida Bonas, who many thought he may marry, last May. Since then, the rumor mill has linked him with German model Anastasia Gusev, socialite Camilla Thurlow, and actress Emma Watson. According to the International Business Times, the royal insider claimed that Chelsy’s closeness to Prince Harry impacted her relationship with Charles Goode.

“Harry and Chelsy’s closeness definitely had an impact on her split with Charles. They have amazing banter as well as chemistry. They’ve always got on so well and everybody can see it.

“There are still the same problems as before, because Chelsy doesn’t enjoy life in the spotlight and the duties that come with dating the prince. But her reluctance spurs him on. He loves a challenge and he’s always seen her as the one that got away.”

While 30-year-old Prince Harry and Chelsy may have much in common, share similar interests, and have mutual friends, it would seem that the reluctance of the blonde beauty to spend life in the spotlight is a major obstacle to a long-term relationship. Yahoo! Lifestyle claims that after their split in 2011, Chelsy rejected the possibility of marriage to Prince Harry. Chelsy reportedly told friends that “there’s no way we are getting married. It’s not a life for me.”

It may be the case that Prince Harry and Chelsy Davy have rekindled their friendship, but only time will tell whether or not this will develop further than that.
