Kylie Jenner Promotes Anti-Wrinkle Skincare Line: Is The 17-Year-Old Too Young?

Kylie Jenner has become the brand ambassador of an anti-wrinkle skincare line. Some are saying that the 17-year-old reality star and Instagram queen is too young to be using anti-wrinkle products. Apparently, Kylie is very concerned about the signs of aging and wants to work with the British-based brand.

Jenner has been named as the new brand ambassador for NIP+FAB, says Closer magazine. Her favorite product out of the skincare line is the Viper Venom Wrinkle Fix Cream. Jenner has been reportedly using the product since October, when she shared a photo of it on Instagram.

Kylie Jenner shared on Instagram: "Getting my daily viper venom fix from @nipandfab @ultabeauty - flawless skin in 10 seconds #nipandfab #beautyaddict."

She said that she uses it daily, as part of her skincare routine. Fans are already saying that the youngest Jenner sister is too young to be worried about fine lines and wrinkles.

The NIP+FAB site promotes “Kylie’s Favorites,” which include Glycolic Fix Pads that will “unveil younger-looking skin.” That’s another product in the line that Kylie doesn’t need. It’s unclear why NIP+FAB would want a teenager to promote their products. They never really explained why they chose Kylie to become the new face of their brand.

Who Say puts it best by writing, “It’s kind of like saying: ‘These products must work. She gets carded everywhere, and so will you.'” Some would say that having the young Jenner promote an anti-wrinkle skincare line is a mockery to mature women who actually use the product.

Dermatologist Dr. Doris Day spoke with Hollywood Life about Kylie’s latest beauty venture. She says that it’s unnecessary for the young girl to use the skincare line. Doris believes that the only beauty product Kylie should be using right now is sunscreen.

“The best anti-wrinkle product for a teen is sunscreen. It’s about prevention at that age, and 90 percent of wrinkles are caused by sun exposure. If teens were sun-smart — wore SPF 30, reapplied regularly, wore a hat, didn’t go tanning and used a spray-on sunscreen if they wanted a tanned look — they would keep their beautiful healthy glow and never need to use the other products.”

That’s not all that Kylie Jenner is making headlines for these days. She made an appearance at the NIP+FAB beauty event wearing a black cleavage-baring t-shirt that showed off her matching bra. It also sparked rumors of plastic surgery. Jenner also made headlines when her rumored 25-year-old boyfriend Tyga confessed his love for her in a Saturday Instagram post.

People Magazine and other outlets have called his confirmation “adorable” and “sweet,” while fans think it’s a tad bit creepy. After all, Kylie is just 17-years-old. She doesn’t turn 18 until August 10. The age of legal consent in California is 18, which means Kylie Jenner and Tyga still have less than five months left.

What are your thoughts on Kylie Jenner’s partnership with the NIP+FAB skincare line? Do you think she’s too young to be using these products?
