Say Cheese! ‘Ghost Girl’ Photobombs Teen’s Snapchat Selfie, Image Goes Viral

Bethany Harvey didn’t notice anything unusual, at least not at first. The Northern Ireland teen was taking a simple Snapchat selfie with her nephew when her sister jumped into the picture. So Bethany she captioned the picture as “photo bombed”. As it turns out, it wasn’t just her sister who was guilty of photobombing the pair. Much later, Bethany found out that a ghostly figure had posed for the camera as well.

“A friend of mine came to my house that night and pointed out what looks to be a woman with her hands folded on her knees in the background, [bearing] in mind the picture was taken facing the living room door.”

Bethany Harvey spoke to the Daily Mail about the creepy incident, insisting that the photo is genuine. She said, “Although we can’t see the face of the figure the rest of it is as clear as day.”

There was nobody else in the living room at the time, except for the ghost girl in the purple dress.

The Snapchat selfie featuring a possible ghost girl has quickly gone viral, with people debating the nature of the image. Is it really a ghost, or is there another possible explanation? It could have been the television or a poster. But if that’s the case, surely Bethany Harvey would recall these details. Harvey seems to think that she and her family were visited by a ghost girl photobomber.

If it’s any consolation to Bethany, she’s not the only teen who recently had her Snapchat selfie ruined by an alleged ghost girl. As reported by the Daily Mirror, Grainne Dowdall was sending a picture to her friend who spotted the bizarre apparition immediately. The friend sent Dowall a screen capture of the startling image.

This perhaps bests the Bethany Harvey moment for creepiest “ghost girl photobomb.” It’s one thing to have a ghost sit quietly in the background and pose for a photo captured during the day. It’s quite another to have a ghost peering into your bedroom at night while you’re all alone.

Ghost girl photobombers seem to be getting around quite a bit this week. The Inquisitr recently reported about a teen ghost that supposedly photobombed a family that was documenting their fun swim.

What’s the reason for the emergence of these teen ghost girls photo bombing everyone? Is it a case of being lonely and envious of people like Bethany Harvey. Or are there simply no ghost girls, with both of these incidents merely being bizarre coincidences?
