Ashlee Baby Bump: Ashlee Simpson Flaunts Pregnancy, Records Song With Evan Ross, Son Of Diana Ross [Video]

Although most of the world thinks of her as Jessica’s little sister, Ashlee Simpson is now sporting her very own baby bump. She and Evan Ross, to whom Ashlee has been married for six months, shared their love and happiness over the pregnancy on a Hawaiian vacation, reported the Daily Mail.

At 30, Ashlee will be having her second child. However, for 26-year-old Evan, life as a dad will be a novel experience. (Ashlee’s son is named Bronx, born in 2009.)

In addition to becoming a father, Evan is enthusiastic about a song that he and Ashlee recorded together, according to Pop Crush.

For Evan, music comes naturally. He’s the son of uber-famous singer Diana Ross and was BFFs with Michael Jackson’s family. However, Evan stresses that he was determined to succeed on his own merits.

It was Rodney Jerkins who became Evan’s mentor.

“We both were close with Michael [Jackson] as well, and I liked the way he worked with Michael and the way he’s worked with a lot of people and it was kind of a match made in heaven. It can be a frightening thing, putting your music out — especially with the family I come from, you know? I wanted to be in love with everything about putting the music out. And the music is so unique and different, but at the same time it feels like right now.”

So how did Ashlee enter Evan’s musical scene?

“Ashlee’s musical too, so she comes to the studio and works and helps me with stuff and she’s also working on music, too, so it’s good,” explained Ross.

As a result of their shared passion for music, the couple decided to team up to create a new sound.

“We did an amazing song together, and we’re trying to figure out what to do with it because I feel like it’s got its own feel to it. It’s called ‘Permission to Love’ and at first we were like ‘Oh, we should put it on the album,’ but I almost think it should have its own thing.”

And Ross hints at future collaborations.

“We’re gonna keep making music together, you know? We love doing that. It would only make sense because we sing together all the time,” he explained.

As a devoted husband, Evan is proud to discuss his wife’s talent.

“It’s unbelievable how talented Ashlee is, and her writing is amazing. She just has such an ear, and I know she’s working on music now and she’s going to be deciding how she wants to put it out, but yeah, she’s incredible.”

As the Inquisitr reported, Ashlee Simpson and Evan aren’t the only couple who work together. Beyonce and Jay Z also share their passion for music as well as each other, while Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are immersed in the entertainment industry.
